I had been craving Hardee's for awhile and I decided to make the drive to this location to get their Low Carb 1/3lb Thickburger. I was upset I couldn't use the buy 1 get 1 free coupon for this sandwich, but that's fine. We placed the order along with an order of their chicken tenders and a large drink. The cashier didn't seem like she wanted to be there at all. Once the order was paid for, I had to remind her that we needed a cup for the drink. Once the order arrived nearly 15 minutes after ordering it, the burger wasn't warm (cheese wasn't melted). I understand that 1/3lb means before cooking - but this burger patty was TINY. I remember the lettuce wrapped burgers being much tastier several years back - this thing did not have much flavor at all. The chicken tenders looked okay and they were hot - just out of the fryer. However, the chicken had a lot of fat/gristle in it making it hard to eat. There wasn't much flavor to these either - just the breading flavor. After craving Hardee's for so long it was a disappointment during this visit. The last time I went to a Hardee's was down South... maybe they just do things different (better) down there.

Don't laugh yelpers you know you eat fast food. and if you are craving a ff burger get to Hardees. I kid you not. This is a serious burger that you can order as a 1/3lb or 1/2lb, that is nicely char-broiled when you order it on a nice fresh baked bun. And here's the surprising tidbit it tastes like beef not a mcd's mush pattie. Honestly and I've thought about this since lunch today, that if I went to my local bar burger joint and they served this to me I would not be disappointed. However, the one star knockdown is their fries, meh not really hot and a bit mushy. The ladies taking the orders and the cashier were extremely nice and pleasant. I wish there were more Hardees.

Best fast food burger & chicken strips out of all fast food. Chicken is real unlike the processed McDonald's, BK, and Wendy's. Burgers always fresh, juicy and good grade meat. Never an issue with the regular frys. Hardee's takes a little longer as everything is cooked to order. Would rather have to wait longer to get a fresh meal than the processed crap that sits on the counter at your other fast food places. Keep up the good work Hardee's and can not wait for more store opening in and around my area.

As a fan of Carl's Jr, this is the closest thing I'm going to get without actually going out west to have their food. I came here today because I wanted to mix it up, and try something different. In some senses, it's still the sister of Carl's Jr. I was hoping to get a breakfast burger, but unfortunately they don't have it on their menu. Instead, I went with an egg and cheese biscuit with hashbrowns and an orange juice. The service was excellent, food was a okay, but I wasn't impressed with their breakfast choices. I would stop here again since I do frequent this side of town, but would probably try their lunch menu the next time I'm here.

This location on Mound just North of 15 mile road is an oasis of good food and great service in a desert of fast food. Mind you it is fast food. They are shoo polite Ann's the food is correct and fresh. My favorite is the Mushroom Burger with Onion Rings. The Vanilla Malts are yummy too!

Never a bad burger here! I usually get the mushroom and Swiss and we get chicken strips on the side. I'm never disappointed-it really is cooked when you order it. I didn't think they could have made it better, but the fresh-baked buns are fabulous! I like the breakfast sandwich features they do too. Over the years there have been pork chop biscuit sandwiches, steak and egg biscuits... And the biscuits and gravy are good too. Today there was a customer who stopped at the front counter on the way out to rave about how clean the playroom was.

You know those things that make you remember times gone by and it brings back warm, happy memories? It happened to me tonight when I walked through the doors of Hardee's and saw the sign stating that they are still (did they ever stop?) offering the all-you-can-eat biscuit and gravy Sunday morning special! THIS is the VERY same thing that introduced me to Hardee's when I was at another mid-western state. My best friend, his family and I always made it a point to visit the all-you-can-eat biscuit and gravy Sunday breakfast after church service so much so that it became a ritual as much as going to church itself! When I moved here to SE Michigan, I did not know they have Hardee's here since, there are only TWO locations that I am aware of close to where I live and this is one of them. Lunch here on Sundays became a semi-regular thing for me but TONIGHT is the first time I learned they have their Sunday breakfast deal! Of course I agree that their burgers are, arguably the best fast food burgers around -- to THIS YELPer, I certainly prefer it over BK's Whopper and McD's Big Mac. But what I always order here is their Charbroiled Chicken Club! The barbecue sauce is always just right for my taste. Until I discovered Arby's curly fries, Hardee's were my favorite curlies. I believe that Arby's is just a TAD BIT greasier than Hardee's though. BUT grease is grease right? And you CERTAINLY would NOT visit a fast food joint -- Hardee's included -- if you are diet conscious. Still, Hardee's is a guilty pleasure for me. When I joined YELP! I made a conscious effort NOT to review giant fast food chains (UNLESS service or food is extraordinarily BAD!) but I think I can make an exception for Hardee's. You WILL see me there NEXT Sunday eating my biscuit and gravy!

Hardee's is one of my top burger joints for fast food. I don't eat at Hardee's often, but when I do I must indulge in a Mushroom and Swiss thick burger and a hand-spun strawberry shake (I love any form of ice cream). The prices aren't going to be like those of a "value menu", but it's certainly worth forking out the extra cash for a fresh-to-order, juicy burger. The mushrooms on the burger are perfectly juicy and soft with the Swiss cheese oozing atop of the 'shrooms. The bun is soft and the patty is perfectly tender and flavorful. You can never go wrong with the Mushroom and Swiss Thickburger (says me)! Oh! Don't you forget to ask for curly fries instead of the ol' fashioned straight fries- you'll be glad you made the switch. Service is what's expected of a fast food restaurant although the cashier was kind and timely in bringing out our order. The establishment was clean and anytime that I'm back in Michigan craving a burger, here is where you'll find me (forget about Max & Erma's). My beau's brother never had Hardee's before until I brought him. He put Hardee's at the top of his favorite burger joints list, too!

Burgers seemed dry n could have been more juicy or had more sauce. However the onion rings and curly fries were really good. A little disappointed though at the quality of the burger even for fast food. But it could have been an coincidence of my not too awesome luck. Only been there once and am good on it for a while

Good as fast food gets. Love the sourdough bread and everything is made to order. No gross food that has been sitting around for hours being served. The mushroom and burger is the best around by far.

I don't come here often but the few times that I do - I never leave disappointed! This is not the old Hardee's we grew up around - the revamped Hardee's is worth a little bit of a drive. They are not as numerous as McDonald's or Burger King - but I can tell you that's fitting because the "fast food" burger they serve up is not your typical assembly line production. This place has great service - though it's fast food with a register - if you dine in, they will take their time with your food to grill to the right juicy level, made-to-order - albeit well-done of course. They usually bring your meal to your table for you . They will periodically even ask you how your meal is. The burgers here are amazing. Why bother going to Red Robin - when you can get close to a gourmet burget here? With signature burgers such as: the Chili Cheese Thickburger, Western Bacon Thickburger, Mushroom Bacon 'N' Swiss Thickburger, Sourdough Bacon Thickburger, and 2/3 lb. Monster Thickburger - it makes one wonder if these are the burgers made in Angus heaven? For being a fast food chain - the burgers served up here and the best tasting, juiciest, and well constructed that I've pretty much ever had. For non burger fiends (whom I can never understand), there are still plenty of other options such as the Big Hot Ham 'N' Cheese, Fish Supreme, Chicken Parmesan Sandwich, BBQ Chicken Sandwich, Chicken Strips, etc. This is a place that will not disappoint the old school burger joint lover. Wondering what to wash all this goodness down with? Well, you can be boring and get pop. Or you can grab one of their hand scooped ice cream shakes or malts!!! I usually complain about chains - but not with this place. Try it out! My only gripe - and really it's just me bitching - is that the pricing here is obviously a notch higher than the Big 3 (McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King). But you get more than the difference worth in food, service and satisfaction. I would say this place is better than the Big 3, but still shy of Five Guys goodness! Also, be sure to check their website as they run coupons on new promotions from time to time.

Last few times I went here it was not good. Cold food (which I hate) and crummy service. I had to wait like 10 minutes for a cold hamburger in an empty restaurant. It's too bad because I used to really like Hardee's. I won't go back.

Hardee's is by far the best fast food burger chain in the business. It takes five minutes to get your food but it is hot and fresh and worth the small wait. A wee bit more expensive than BK or mickey D's but worth every bit. The breakfast biscuit was a great hangover cure.

Better than Mickey D's and the King. Several choices of burgers which taste better and seem better quality of meat than it's competitors.

I completely agree with Mr. Joe T. here - this whole chain is seriously underrated, as is Carl's Jr. back on the west coast. Their burgers are leagues ahead of any other of the big chains, the closest being Wendy's, who apparently use actual fresh, unfrozen beef. I once longboarded 7 miles round-trip to come here and back, as I was craving a big juicy burger so badly and wanted to save gas. That was one of the most satisfying burgers I've ever had, and it was cheap! I really like how they bring the food to your table, and I too have been asked how everything is, generally when my face and hands are a mess from the deliciousness. I try to avoid reviewing big chains, but this one is noteworthy and people should stop by more. This location in particular has a big playplace for kids as well, so the young'ns can lark about while you devour your yummy goodness.

Yes it's a bit pricier than the big 3. But, it tastes better, made to order and dare I say it...hot. Get the $5 for $10 Yelp deal and they'll have to roll your fat butt back to work after a Thick Burger, shake and curly fries. Also - try the hand-dipped chicken strips...tasty...just sayin'. They've got a playscape for the kiddies as well which is always a bonus for parents.
